Driver Shot After Bulldozer Crashes Into Jerusalem Bus

One woman killed and 30 people injured as man ploughs bulldozer into crowded public bus
A man seized control of a bulldozer in Jerusalem today and used it to overturn a bus before he was shot and killed, according to reports.

An eyewitness told Sky News the attack took place on a main road in Jerusalem. After the man took control of the bulldozer and ploughed the vehicle into a crowded bus, he tried to drive into as many people on the road as he could.

Israeli radio said one woman was killed and about 30 people were injured in the incident. The attack set off a panic in downtown Jerusalem as dozens of people fled the scene.

Injured people lay amid piles of broken glass and blood stains on the ground, the Associated Press reported. A baby had blood on its face. One witness cried: "Where's the baby? Where's the baby?" The driver of the bulldozer was slumped motionless over the steering wheel.

There has been no word yet about who was responsible for the attack.
