Bell Hits Double Ton

The England batsman Ian Bell struck 215 for Warwickshire as he returned to form head of the South Africa series
Nine days from the First Test against South Africa, Ian Bell played himself back into form with a double century as Warwickshire declared on 528 for eight against Gloucestershire at Edgbaston.

The England batsman, who averaged 15 in the series against New Zealand, made 215 in setting the visitors a target of 192 to avoid an innings defeat. Bell struck 32 fours and enjoyed a third-wicket stand of 221 with Jonathan Trott - who contributed an undefeated 164. Gloucestershire were 36 without loss at the close.
