Do You Care?
Just read it. It's not as depressing as other death poetry (I hope) but it's still worth reading.
All the hurt you have inflicted
All the times you’ve been vindictive
Every time that you pull the trigger
Do you realize there’s something bigger
All the times that you’ve caused pain
They come back and haunt you, again and again
Stop burying your past and start looking for it
Sort out those skeletons hiding in your closet
Could you even begin to comprehend
Whose lives you’ve so badly wanted to end
I bet that you have never understood
The difference between what’s right and what’s good
Does the world mean a thing to you,
Or do you just stand there?
Time is running out for you,
People are dying,
DO YOU EVEN CARE?
All the times you’ve been vindictive
Every time that you pull the trigger
Do you realize there’s something bigger
All the times that you’ve caused pain
They come back and haunt you, again and again
Stop burying your past and start looking for it
Sort out those skeletons hiding in your closet
Could you even begin to comprehend
Whose lives you’ve so badly wanted to end
I bet that you have never understood
The difference between what’s right and what’s good
Does the world mean a thing to you,
Or do you just stand there?
Time is running out for you,
People are dying,
DO YOU EVEN CARE?
