Basketball: The LA Lakers reached the Western conference finals, edging out Utah Jazz 108-105 in game six of their series
The Los Angeles Lakers reached the National Basketball Association's Western Conference finals for the first time in four years by beating the Utah Jazz 108-105.
They will play the winners of the San Antonio-New Orleans series, which will be decided in game seven tomorrow.
In Cleveland, the Cavaliers got the win they needed to force a seventh game against the Boston Celtics. LeBron James scored 32 points as Cleveland set up a finale, to be played today. The winners meet Detroit in the Eastern Conference finals.
