Super Aguri Close to Life-saving Deal
Super Aguri say their deal with auto company Weigl will be completed soon, meaning they should be able to continue in formula one
Super Aguri have moved closer to ensuring their survival in formula one after the cash-strapped team revealed that a deal with an automotive company, the Weigl, was imminent.
A joint statement said: "Super Aguri F1 Team and Weigl Group AG are in final discussions concerning an agreement for a substantial shareholding."
