My Best Friend

You don’t understand,
and I cant tell you to your face,
but my feeling have been hidden for sometime,
how could you be so selfish?
to think of yourself, and take what you want,
you got it,
I'm left empty, but yet you still have the nerve to ask me,
don’t you want me to be happy?
and you know the answer already,
Of course I want you to be happy,
so I give up everything I've ever known, for your happiness, but its not enough,
is it ever enough?
I try to be selfless and give you what you want,
I try to suffice your happiness, but lose mine in the process.
its not fair to blame one side, but have you ever stopped and took a good step back and looked at the situation through my eyes?
have you ever been willing to give up your happiness?
have you tried to be selfless and give me what I want?
Or have to stuck to your old ways, convinced that I am wrong?
So it leaves me with the question
Do you want me to be happy?
