Jonny Wilkinson has been ruled out of England's summer tour to New Zealand because of injury.
The Rugby Football Union this evening confirmed the 28-year-old would not figure in the tour in June.
The Newcastle Falcons fly-half missed his club's seventh consecutive Guinness Premiership defeat away to Sale Sharks yesterday because of concussion. However, his recent action has been restricted because of a shoulder injury.
