No Comment on Mosley's Future
Britain's FIA members have sidestepped calls to comment on Max Mosley's future and confirmed they would be keeping their opinions private before the world governing body's general assembly meeting on June 3.
Mosley is seeking a vote of confidence by secret ballot after a Sunday tabloid newspaper made lurid allegations about his sex life. The 67-year old plans to sue the News of the World for invasion of privacy.
The Motor Sports Association, the governing body in Britain, said it would "refrain from making any judgment or comment on the issue prior to the extraordinary general assembly". Canada and New Zealand yesterday joined the Netherlands, Germany and the US in calling for Mosley's resignation.
