Philosophy

Just a thought I had...
The brevity of the coupling along with the intensity of it
Denotes that any future unions will be as joyous
And if the proverb is to be believed that
"Absence makes the heart grow fonder"
The growth may be exponential in its strength and magnitude

There for one would believe that in an instance where
A future engagement would be plausible
The involved party would look forward to it
With great anticipation and fervor...

Such is not always the case in situations of the heart

Though the optimistic train of thought is preferable
And the keeping of a good out-look perhaps being
Integral in that future coming to be
Logic does not hold sway where emotion has taken root

Hence the doubting of ones own self
May inadvertently cause that which they
Had hoped to come to fruition to be swept beyond their grasp

Even being familiar with this concept does not
Suffice to exempt one from that exact course

Thus one must exert a tremendous force of will
And a tenacity of mind equal to or greater than
Ones desire for said coupling to be repeated
In order that it might be

One can only hope such a feat is possible
