Tarver Talks Tough Before Showdown With Woods
Boxing: Antonio Tarver predicted he would defeat Clinton Woods for the IBF title in one of the fights of the year
Antonio Tarver, who challenges Sheffield's Clinton Woods for the IBF world light-heavyweight title in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, has predicted their meeting could be one of the fights of the year, but added he was confident he would win to take a first step towards becoming the undisputed champion again.
Tarver, 39, who became the undisputed champion in this division when he was the first to knock out Roy Jones Jnr in 2004, said: "This man is coming all the way from England to take something that is rightfully mine. I want all four of those belts around my waist. Anybody that wants to do business in the light-heavyweight division, they've got to come and see me."
