My Last Goodbye

Love is just an icy wind, which blows between cold hearts...
Love is just an icy wind,
which blows between cold hearts
and as I stand here in this breeze
I know our love departs.

Time a truth the old will tell,
A story to teach the young
and so I lie here in this grave,
no air in either lung.

Pain is just a pleasure lost,
it rips away the fear
and now I sit here, looking back,
remorse in every tear.

Black is but this winter mourn,
it tells of time gone by
and as I wait here one last time,
I know our love must die.
