This one is just for class. But I liked it. You are supposed to guess the emotion word I was writing about. I'm not allowed to use the actual word in the poem though. I love free verse.
Approaching
With a Shy Air about her.
Longing
To now it's true and real
Spark
the flame inside her soul alight
Joy
the happiness settles in. For long?
Doubt
Can't let it get to her.
Spirit
Lifted with promises
Love?
Certainly not.
But what?
What could she be filled with...
