Tennis: Andy Murray overcame world No1 Roger Federer in three sets at the Dubai Championship
Something about the Persian Gulf appeals to Andy Murray. Two months after winning the fourth title of his fledgling career at the Qatar Open, Murray claimed another career landmark in southwest Asia by beating Roger Federer 6-7, 6-3, 6-4 in the first round of the Dubai Open. Murray produced a display brimming with poise and confidence to send Federer crashing to his second defeat of the year.
