Senior Agrees One-year Rhinos Extension
Rugby league: Leeds and Great Britain center Keith Senior has signed a fresh contract with the Rhinos
Keith Senior has boosted Leeds Rhinos ahead of Friday night's Carnegie World Club Challenge against Melbourne Storm by signing a one-year extension to his contract.
The 31-year-old Great Britain center had been widely expected to retire when his existing deal expired at the end of this season. But he has made a spritely start to the Super League campaign under the new Rhinos coach Brian McClennan and has now followed his club and international team-mate Jamie Peacock by effectively opting to end his career at Headingley.
"Brian's given everyone a lift and we're all really enjoying our rugby," said Senior. "I want to stay playing in a winning side and that's what we're doing at Leeds at the moment."
