Bailey Out of Bradford Game for Dangerous Throw
Rugby league: Wigan's Phil Bailey and Hull KR's Stanley Gene have both received one-match suspensions at hearings
Wigan's Phil Bailey and Hull KR's Stanley Gene each received a one-match suspension at last night's Rugby Football League disciplinary hearing after incidents in last weekend's Super League games. Bailey was found guilty of a dangerous throw in Wigan's defeat at Hull and will miss Saturday's home game against Bradford, and Gene will miss Rovers' next game at Wakefield on Sunday week as punishment for a reckless high tackle on Warrington's Simon Grix. The Catalans Dragons prop David Ferriol was suspended for two matches for a dangerous throw in their defeat at Leeds and misses games at Warrington on Sunday and at home to Bradford on Saturday week.
