Laporta Insists Ronaldinho is Staying Put
Barcelona insist Ronaldinho will be staying at Camp Nou for the foreseeable future
Ronaldinho will not be leaving Camp Nou during the January transfer window, Barcelona president Joan Laporta has insisted.
The Brazilian has been linked with Chelsea and Milan, but Laporta said last night that Ronaldinho will be remaining in Barcelona. "We are not going to sell Ronaldinho," he said. "We are not in contact with any other team [about him]."
Ronaldinho's contract at Barcelona runs until June 2010, but there had been talk of him leaving after a loss of form and criticisms of his party attitude. Earlier this season one member of the back room staff at Camp Nou complained that "Ronaldinho can no longer get away from his man".
