This poem is dedicated to my uncle...He was suffering form depression and shot himself a few months back…We never stop thinking about you...
You were our heavenly angel
Our golden ray of light
But why oh why did you do that
Pick up the gun that fateful night
We should’ve seen the signs
Surely they were screaming loud and clear
"Please save me from myself"
So why didn’t we hear?
We didn't see the signs
Until it was already too late
And you left us wondering
Could we have saved us from that fate?
So now you've gone and left this world
Leaving us broken and torn apart
A place inside us always weeping
And there’s a forever hollow place in our hearts
But though you may be gone
We know you’re in a better place
And your memory is strong in our minds
Of a love and friend no-one can ever replace
