Ireland Recall Murphy for Argentina

Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan has brought back Geordan Murphy and Denis Hickie for his side's must-win match in Paris.
Ireland have recalled Geordan Murphy in one of two changes for their final group match against Argentina in Paris this Sunday. Murphy, who was controversially omitted from the 22 that last 25-3 to France, replaces Leinster full-back Girvan Dempsey, who sustained a shoulder injury during that defeat.

In the second change, Denis Hickie replaces Andrew Trimble on the left wing, with the Ulster player dropped to the bench because of his defensive frailties against France.

The Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan has left the hooker position open as he waits for injury updates on Jerry Flannery (shoulder stinger) and Rory Best (dislocated thumb). Ireland must beat Argentina and score four tries to progress to ensure they progress to the quarter-finals.

Ireland G Murphy (Leicester); S Horgan (Leinster), B O'Driscoll (Leinster, capt), G D'Arcy (Leinster), D Hickie (Leinster); R O'Gara (Munster), E Reddan (Wasps); M Horan (Munster), hooker undecided, J Hayes (Munster), D O'Callaghan (Munster), P O'Connell (Munster), S Easterby (Llanelli), D Wallace (Munster), D Leamy (Munster).
