Henman Hill Still
Tennis: The LTA has decided to sell ground-only tickets for Tim Henman's Davis Cup farewell at Wimbledon.
Henman Hill will have no one on it next weekend when its hero takes his leave of professional tennis at Wimbledon. In what promises to be the most emotional sporting event of the year - Tim Henman's farewell playing for Britain in the Davis Cup tie against Croatia - there will be 11,000 packed in to No 1 Court for each of the three days, while the mound that has become so closely associated with his triumphs and disasters will be silent as the LTA has decided not to sell ground-only tickets for the event. Henman, 31, is expected to play singles matches on the first and third days of the tie that will decide whether Britain gain promotion to the world group. Andy Murray has volunteered to play on each day, including accompanying brother Jamie in the doubles.
