Sidebottom Ruled Out of First One-day Clash
England seamer Ryan Sidebottom has been ruled out of tomorrow's first one-day international against India with an ongoing side injury.
Sidebottom did not join the squad in Southampton yesterday and will continue to receive treatment at the ECB National Cricket Performance Center, where he has undergone rehabilitation treatment since suffering the problem during the third Test against India. A further assessment will be made following tomorrow's Rose Bowl encounter to determine when Sidebottom will be available to join the squad.
A replacement has not been called up at this stage but further consideration will be made following Sidebottom's fitness assessment after the game.
