There I sat all alone,
A broken heart with a broken home.
No one to share the love I’d had,
Suicidal and feeling sad.

As time moved I felt more un-happy,
Lonely, depressed and feeling angry.
Thinking there’s nothing left for me in this life,
I sat in my room with the shiny knife.

Scars on my arms to remind me of the past,
How much longer could this torture last?
