Rugby League: Head's Arrival at Hull Opens the Overseas Exit Door

Hull hope their their Australian loan signing will be able to make his Super League debut against Salford on Sunday.
Hull are hoping that Mathew Head will make his debut in Sunday's Super League game against Salford after they completed the loan signing of the St George Illawarra scrum-half yesterday.

However, their chief executive, James Rule, confirmed last night that Head's arrival will force the club to release one of their three overseas players, Matt Sing, Sid Domic or the former captain Richard Swain, to clear a space in their quota.

Rule remains confident that the Salford game will go ahead because the KC Stadium has escaped the severe flooding that has affected many other parts of the city. Salford's new coach, Shaun McRae, is considering a move for France's Maxime Grésèque.
