Tennis: Tursonov Takes Out Henman Again
Tim Henman's Wimbledon preparations suffered another setback after he was dumped out of the Nottingham Open by Dimitry Tursunov.
The second seed moved into the quarter-finals with a 7-6 (9-7), 3-6, 6-2 victory over the British No2, who had chances of his own in the blustery conditions. Henman showed flashes of his best, volleying superbly on his way to the second set, which would have been enough for victory had he taken any of three opportunities to win the opening set, but in the end he had to settle for a fifth defeat in six meetings with the Russian.
Henman will now arrive at the All England Club for next week's grand slam with just three grass-court games under his belt and with only two ATP Tour ranking victories all season.
