Boxing: Macarinelli Sets Cardiff Date

Enzo Maccarinelli will defend his WBO world cruiserweight title against Wayne Braithwaite in Cardiff.
Enzo Maccarinelli's next defence of his WBO world cruiserweight title will be against the former WBC champion Wayne Braithwaite at the Cardiff International Arena on July 21.

With contracts set to be signed this week, the 26-year-old Welsh champion said he was preparing for a tough fight.

Mexico's José Luis Castillo has rubbished Ricky Hatton's undefeated record ahead of their world light-welterweight title fight in Las Vegas on June 23.

"Hatton is a good strong fighter," said Castillo, "but I am going to knock him out. He is there to be beaten, and I know I am going to be the first to do it."
