Waking Up From The Acoma

I'm trying to learn to write from a different perspective. Keeping away from the dark side. Though I write better that way,
My dark side shines through
All that I could do is cry
I still want to thank you
Knowing it's been a tough ride
Pieces of jagged thoughts
Cling in my dreams & daily lifestyle
Hurting only me & suffering I bought
Driving me into years & hundreds of miles
Broken down dreams running on hunger
Memories that make life hard to change
Knowing I'm not getting any younger
It only left me feeling deranged
Fears lie like nightmare bourne
My rage feelings shattered and irrate
Separated by the truth what lies torn
Released to the light I will await
Sharing with you happiness for miles
To come, you will meet a different me
Hope you see a new life in my trial
Releasing my love what my heart pleads
