Horse Racing: Moon Should Shine Returned to Bath

Mystical Moon looked as though he had races in him when stepped up to longer distances when running three times over a mile as a two-year-old. He appeared to need the outing when sixth over an extra two furlongs at Bath first time out, fading in the closing stages, and he should be spot-on for another crack at the same course and distance at 3.10.
Trevian was dropped back to seven furlongs last time at Lingfield and stayed on strongly in the closing stages. A mile is his optimum distance and he can score his first win of the season in the 4.10, in which Wind Chime, who won this race two years ago, will be a tough opponent.
At Perth, Tamarinbleu has been given enough time to recover from last month's exertions over hurdles at Haydock in the Perth Gold Cup at 3.50. He is best fresh. Kyle of Lochalsh has gradually been getting his act together for his new yard and will be worth backing at a likely double-figure price in the 3.20.
Silverhay has one of the best jockeys in the 4.0 at Stratford, a race for international amateurs, and looked as if he had plenty more in the tank at Newton Abbot last time.
