Horse Racing: Arch to Swing Guineas
Eddie Fremantle's tips of the day
Arch Swing, second to Finsceal Beo in the 1,000 Guineas, can gain revenge in the Irish version (Curragh, 3.35). She had to race wide on the unfavored middle of the track at Newmarket, whereas Finsceal Beo, since beaten in France, had the rail to help her.
Oscarshall looked ready for a stiffer track when third at Lingfield last time so should enjoy Newmarket's seven furlongs in the 5.30. Trafalgar Bay (3.50), an expensive buy to join Karl Burke, ran well on his first start for his new yard and should improve.
Ladies Best looked smart when winning a nursery last time and has been found an ideal opportunity on his reappearance. He's The Gaffer is well-handicapped in Fontwell's 5.15, while King's Envoy's trip from Scotland can pay off in Uttoxeter's 2.20.
