Michael Owen will make his first international appearance since the World Cup after being named in the England B side to face Albania tomorrow.

The unsettled Newcastle striker has not played for England since suffering a serious knee injury in last summer's World Cup group match with Sweden, and has made just three Premiership appearances for his club since the end of April.

The 27-year-old, who looked understandably rusty in his three run-outs, will up partnered up front by Manchester United utility man Alan Smith, who has fully recovered from the gruesome ankle injury that kept him out of the Manchester United side until September last year.

Reading's Nicky Shorey has been named at left-back, while Tottenham duo Ledley King and Michael Dawson are the two center-halves, with Phil Neville at right-back. Aaron Lennon, David Bentley, Jermaine Jenas and Gareth Barry make up the midfield.
