Snooker: Dott Leading Points Winner This Season
Former World Champion Graeme Dott's victory in the China Open sees him lead the ranking points table this season.
Graeme Dott's victory over Jamie Cope in the China Open final, added to a semi-final, two quarter-finals and a place in the last 16 in the previous five ranking events, means the Scot has accumulated more ranking points than any other player this season.
However, with double points - including 10,000 for the winner - at stake in the world championship in Sheffield next month, eight other players could seize the top spot when the rankings, which are assessed on a two-year cycle, receive their annual revision on May 8.
Cope rises to a provisional 16th but has not qualified for the Crucible Theatre and will therefore not be a member of the elite top 16 next season.
