$$The One$$

This is a about a boy that I liked and we almost dated (but my best friend went behind my back) but he was a player and I wanted to let him know its ok to get attached sometimes if you really like that someone.
Look in her eyes,
What do you see?
Do you see the tars she cries?
Can you hear her silently praying to be free?

She stands there alone
Sick of all the pain
Hating to be home
Tired of cutting into her veins

She cuts her wrist
Hoping to die
Not wondering whom she’ll miss
Not caring why

She’s slowly pulling away
Praying for someone to see
Wanting someone to love her
Wanting someone to ask her to stay

She can’t hold on much longer
She’s falling apart
The hate is getting stronger
Emptying her heart

But when she looks into the blueness of your eyes
When she sees the smile that makes her day
The anger in her dies
The pain slowly drifts away

She lives to see your face
To have you hold her tight
To feel her heart race
When your hugs make everything all right

You’ll never know
Just what you mean to her
‘Cause her feelings, she tries not to show
Remembering how things once were

She hopes that one day you will see
That it is okay to love someone
Don’t be scared to let your emotions run free
If you think you’ve finally found the one.
