Prince Frederick von Anhalt has come forward after the death or Anna Nicole Smith saying that the two carried on a decade long affair and he may be the father of her five-month old daughter Dannielynn Hope. Howard K. Stern, Smith’s companion, is listed on the birth certificate as the baby’s father but her former boyfriend Larry Birkhead has been saying that he is the baby’s father since he found out that Smith was pregnant. He is currently embroiled in a bitter legal battle to get DNA tests done on both Smith and the baby to determine paternity. Now you can add von Anhalt to the list. He reportedly said in an interview Friday, "If you go back from September, she wasn’t with one of those guys, she was with me."

von Anhalt, 59, said that he would file his own lawsuit if the baby is placed in the custody of either Stern or Birkhead. von Anhalt and Gabor, 90, have been married for more than twenty years. He is Gabor’s eighth husband. von Anhalt claims that he and Smith first met in the early 90’s while she was married to oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall. von Anhalt claims that Smith approached him and Gabor at a hotel in New York. He said of Smith, "She was a very big fan of Zsa Zsa and wanted to be like Zsa Zsa. She wanted to be a princess."

von Anhalt claims the two began an affair shortly after meeting and that the affair lasted for the past decade leading up to her untimely death. von Anhalt claims that he tried to make Smith’s dream of becoming a princess come true by filling out adoption papers to legally adopt her, but his wife refused to sign the papers. A DNA test is reportedly on hold for now pending a hearing on February 20.
