Britney Spears Dumped By Isaac Cohen

Sources say that Cohen, 25, dumped Spears over the phone on Sunday night while she was in New York and he was in Los Angeles. Brandi Lord, Cohen’s agent, confirmed the split saying, "They are no longer and item." She called the split "very amicable" and said, "They’re both busy with their careers. She just got out of a marriage and she has two kids to take care of. Her plate is full, and the same with him." There has been no official comment on the break-up from Spears’ camp.

Spears and Cohen were introduced in mid-December by her choreographer, a mere month after she filed for divorce from hubby Kevin Federline, and seemed to hit it off right away. The two were first photographed in California together January 2 while they were spotted boating off Marina Del Rey. The next night they were seen partying at the W Hotel’s Whiskey Blue bar.

A friend of Cohen’s said he has been trying to get out of the relationship for awhile. The friend reportedly said, "It was a bit much for him. There was a lot of drama – it was too much of a whirlwind. He likes her. They had a good time together. He was doing his best to help her out – but there is only so much one person can do." Said another source, "There was no big drama. It was never more than hooking up." Maybe Spears should just chill out for a bit and wait until her divorce is finalized….there is plenty of time for empty hook-ups…
