Johnny Knoxville, Wife Split

Knoxville’s rep Amanda Silverman confirmed the split saying, "They have been separated." Knoxville and his wife were married in 1995 and have a ten-year old daughter Madison. There have been numerous rumors surrounding their marriage and his alleged affairs. As far as if they will get a divorce or not a friend of the couple’s said, "I really don’t know. They have been separated for awhile. They just grew apart."

The alleged affairs have reportedly put a tremendous strain on the relationship. A source close to the couple reportedly said that Knoxville is to blame. Said the source, "How do you live knowing that your husband leads a separate life…and is sleeping with other women all the time? She deserves every penny if she is going to divorce him."

It was rumored that Knoxville had an affair with his Dukes of Hazzard co-star Jessica Simpson during filming. The romance rumors allegedly put a major strain on both Knoxville and Simpson’s marriages. Knoxville said at the time, "Luckily, my wife and I have a dialogue and I said, ‘Look, people are making up these stories and putting them in the papers.’ She understands, but of course she doesn’t like it. I didn’t like it and I’m sure Jessica and her husband Nick Lachey didn’t like it." Reportedly, Lachey threatened Knoxville and told him to stay away from Simpson. Simpson and Knoxville still maintain that there was nothing romantic between the two of them and that they just developed a close friendship. It doesn’t really matter anymore since Simpson and Lachey are divorced and now it looks as if Knoxville and his wife are headed down the same path.
