Lohan, who entered rehab last month, has decided not to go ahead with her upcoming movie A Woman of No Importance. Her publicist Leslie Sloane said, "She doesn’t want to just yes everyone and compromise herself anymore. If anything has been learned, it’s that what she needs comes first – and right now she needs focus." The movie stars Annette Bening who was originally tapped to star opposite Lohan in Freaky Friday. Bening had to pull out of that movie and the role eventually went to Jamie Lee Curtis. Sloane said, "Lindsay is sad that she’s unable to finally work with Annette, because she’s a huge fan and respects her."
Lohan is currently filming the movie I Know Who Killed Me. Filming on the movie had to be put on hold due to the fact that Lohan had her appendix removed and then shortly after that checked into the Wonderland Center in Los Angeles to reportedly deal with her alcohol and pill addiction. Lohan is back on the set and then reportedly stays at the Wonderland Center at night. She is set to do publicity for her film Georgia Rule and then is expected to take a break…for a little while anyway. Sloane reportedly said, "It’s a mature thing to do…She’s doing this so she can focus on getting better."
20-year old Lohan checked herself into rehab last month. She said in a statement released through Sloane, "I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time." Lohan was reportedly attending Alcoholics Anonymous for about a year, but a source said that she would go to the meetings and then go out drinking. So apparently she felt the need to do something to straighten her life out. Hopefully her time in rehab will get her on the right path.
