Cycling: Landis Team Denies Links Computer Hackers
After computer hackers attacked France's anti-doping laboratory, its director says there may be a link with Floyd Landis' positive drugs test.
The director of France's main anti-doping laboratory claimed yesterday that there could be a link between Floyd Landis's positive test for testosterone and hackers who broke into the laboratory's computer system recently and distributed emails of extracts from documents.
On Wednesday it also emerged that the number of Landis's B sample had been wrongly quoted. The laboratory professor Jacques de Ceaurriz said: "What gives us food for thought is the fact the two events are almost synchronised."
Landis's spokesman Michael Henson said on Tuesday, after the computer piracy was revealed, that "claims attributing it to Floyd or his defence team are baseless".
