Scrapbooking in Torrance, California
Scrampers is a 4000 foot scrapbook store, located in Torrance, California. A few miles away is yet another store called Strictly scrapbooking offering specials every day of the week. Discover a few of the many visitors spots in the Torrance area where cameras are a must.
Imagine my surprise when I discovered there is a 4000 square foot scrapbook store only 10 minutes from my mom’s house.
Scrampers is located on Sepulveda Boulevard between Hawthorne and Crenshaw. Scrampers has been in business since 1999 and has one of the largest selections of stickers and paper you'll ever find. They offer classes through out the year. Scrampers prides itself on carrying products from over 100 vendors. When you visit Scrampers, you'll even find products for your children and their school projects. Scrampers was voted "Best of LA" for scrapbook supplies by Los Angeles Magazine.
Torrance is not limited to only one scrapbook store. Strictly Scrapbooking is located on Pacific Coast Highway between Rolling Hills Road and Crenshaw. The owner, Sophia Trujillo, offers many classes, and shows samples on her website. Sophia offers products from many different companies. She offers a huge variety of papers in addition to her other products.
Strictly Scrapbooking offers teachers with employee badges 10% off on Mondays. On Tuesdays, they offer 20% off all rolled stickers. This offer is available to all customers. On Wednesday, Strictly Scrapbooking will accept competitor’s coupons, and on Thursday senior citizens will receive 10% off. Wow!!
The photo opportunities in and around Torrance are abundant. I happen to love the ocean, so Redondo Beach Pier is always on my list of places to snap photos. They have shops, restaurants, fish markets and a great arcade. We have easily snapped 36 photos just at the pier.
Sticking with the water theme, Ports of Call Village in San Pedro is a charming mixture of outdoor snack shacks, shops and wonderful seafood restaurants. The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is a wonderful hands on experience for children.
The South Coast Botanic Garden on Crenshaw Blvd, is just breathtaking. I can remember taking entire rolls of film there as a teenager. The colors and the variety of flowers are just amazing.
Finally, if you enjoy beautiful churches, visit Wayfarers’ Chapel. This church is known as the "Glass Church" as the entire structure is made of glass and stone.
Both Scrampers and Strictly Scrapbooking will help you in converting all of your photos to lasting memory scrapbooks.
