Scrapbooking in Santa Barbara, California

"Santa Barbara Scrapbooks" is located on Chapala Street right in downtown Santa Barbara. Santa Barbara Scrapbooks offers free access to their equipment and machines. You only pay for the supplies you use. They also offer a work center with Accu-Cut die-cut machines, paper cutters, and a Xyron machine for making stickers or laminating. Check their calendar for classes offered.
There are many places to visit and use your camera in Santa Barbara. If you like trees Anacapa Park is the place to go. They have 70 species of trees you can take photos of and a picnic area.
You can take a trolley from the top of State Street down to the ocean. Once there, visit the Stearns Wharf with shops, restaurants and a small museum.
The courthouse was built in 1929 and offers free guided tours. The courthouse is known for its staircases, murals, doors and more.
The Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens has over 75 acres of trees, flowers and an authentic Japanese teahouse.
The Santa Barbara zoo is small but very nice. They have over 500 different animals on 30 acres.
Every Sunday an art exhibit takes place along the beach on Cabrillo Street. Vendors set up right on the grass and sell their wares.
As you walk through town, you’ll find all types of shops and outdoor cafes. There are places you can rent bikes. You’ll find an outdoor carousel and often can hear musicians playing on the street corners.
If you prefer the indoors, there is the Museum of Natural History, the Art Museum, the Historical Museum and the Mission.
