Long Beach (a very short drive from Bellflower) is where you can catch a ferry over to Catalina Island. Spend the day shopping, eating and relaxing and then come back on the ferry to your car.

The Aquarium in Long Beach is one of the largest aquariums in the United States. They have more than 500 species filling 19 major habitats and 32 focus exhibits. This is a must see if you are in the Bellflower/Long Beach area.

The Queen Mary is docked in Long Beach and is a great visit. One of my high school reunions was held there and it was wonderful. There are shops, restaurants and lots of photo opportunities.

Shoreline Village is referred to as a "quaint Cape-Cod style fishing village. Again, you’ll find shops, restaurants and even a carousel for the kids.
