Ferrari Superamerica: Never Waning Style And Power
Ferrari Superamerica, the special edition stunner from the automaker has retained its majestic standing in the automotive arena. Its power, style and performance never fail to amaze both car fanatics and plain passersby.
The special edition Ferrari Superamerica, which was previously launched by the automaker, has maintained its hypnotic charm and prowess. Up until now, the stunner car with the convertible concept still injects fascination among enthusiasts and critics.
Superamerica uses 12-cylinder power that has a ground-breaking spin on its convertible roof. Ferrari Superamerica is derived from the 575M Maranello from the 575M Maranello. However, it features all-new electrochromatic glass roof with a patented rotating function. Said glass roof was developed through the cooperation of Saint Gobain. The glass roof gives the driver the discretion to choose the amount of light to enter the cockpit area with just one touch of a button. The roof, on the other hand, can also be detached by rotating it backwards into a flat position on the rear deck.
The elegant roof of Superamerica is dubbed as ‘Revocromico’. Said name is used to emphasize the glass technology used as well as its rearward rotation movement. Moreover, the roof can be operated effortlessly. In fact, it can be fully opened in a matter of 10 seconds.
The Pininfarina badge was also incorporated in the car. Same is located on the rear buttresses. Ferrari’s renowned carbon brakes is also included in the car. On the other hand, the power of this car has also been increased from 515bhp to 540bhp to ensure satisfying performance and acceleration.
With regards to loading capabilities, the car’s luggage space in its rear portion was not altered. This is because the carbon-fibre and glass roof was positioned at rear part of the driver and the passenger. The window also remained in its original position.
Other astounding parts of Superamerica are its wheels. The wheels are supplied by Bridgestone Corporation, which is the parent company of Tennessee-based Bridgestone Americas Holding, Inc. Potenza RE050 radial wheels form Bridgestone Corporation are known for its durably and state-of-the-art quality. The Potenza tires will be of size 255/35ZR19 on the front wheels and 305/30ZR19 on the rear wheels.
