11 DAYS KENYA WILDLIFE FAMILY VACATION AND BEACH HOLIDAY
Adventure all what Kenya has to offer in terms of wildlife viewing and tropical sandy beaches. Spend seven days game viewing in four tourists-must-visit-sanctuaries and the other four having fun in Kenya’s best sandy beach resorts and Spa with the biggest Indian Ocean front. Short road distance coverage and children facilities in the selected hotels/ lodges make it ideal for family travel.

DAY 01: ARRIVE AT JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, NAIROBI
Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer to Nairobi Safari Club in Nairobi’s Central Business District. An all suite hotel for dinner and overnight stay or similar.

DAY 02: NAIROBI- SWEET WATERS
Pick up from your hotel at 0830hrs and drive towards the slopes of Africa's second largest mountain at 5199m - Mt Kenya.

We take lunch at Mt. Kenya Safari Club followed by an afternoon game drive at Sweetwater’s game ranch to see the wildlife, including rehabilitated chimpanzees. We spend the night at the Sweetwater’s Tented Camp.

The private ranch at Sweetwater’s is the only sanctuary for rehabilitation of chimpanzees in Kenya, with two groups living in an environment close to their natural habitat as possible. The site is also a dedicated black rhino breeding area.

DAY 03: ABERDARES – LAKE NAKURU
Depart the lodge soon after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch at a lodge followed by a full afternoon game drive at the park.

Lake Nakuru's claim to world fame is anchored on its millions of flamingo's and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift Valley. The sight of the flamingos is quite spectacular.

From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species - particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Dinner and overnight stay at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or Similar.

DAY 04: LAKE NAKURU – LAKE NAIVASHA
Breakfast at the lodge before driving to Lake Naivasha. We then make a visit to the Hells Gate National Park. This park can be explored on foot or you could also cycle around the park. Afternoon boat ride to Crescent Island can be arranged. Dinner and overnight at Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar depending on availability at the time of booking.

DAY 05: LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA
Drive to the world-famous Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley. Arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at a Lodge. Full afternoon game drive till dusk when we return to Mara Sarova Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay or similar.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is puzzle to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant.

The annual Serengeti-Masai Mara migration of millions of wildebeest and other grazing herbivores as they fight for survival to cross the crocodile-infested Mara River in search of grazing land is one of the greatest spectacles in the natural world that makes East Africa a top tourist destination.

The wildebeest and zebra migrate from the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – the lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

Typically, the wildebeest head north-west from the short grass plains to the Western Corridor of the Serengeti and its Grumeti River. This watercourse is their first real obstacle as gigantic Nile crocodiles (growing up to 6 meters in length) are waiting for the hesitant wildebeest to stumble at the crossing.

DAY 06 / 07: MAASAI MARA
Full days spent exploring the park in search of the Big Five. Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost. Visit to the Maasai villages for children to learn their culture and their ways of life. All meals and over night stay at Mara Sarova Tented Camp or similar.

DAY 08: MAASAI MARA -NAIROBI - MOMBASA
Breakfast then transfer to the airstrip to board a Mara – Nairobi flight departing at 1100hrs. Arrive at approximately 1230 hrs. On arrival our guide will meet you and take you to the world-known Barbecue Centre, namely Carnivore Restaurant for lunch.

After lunch we will transfer you to the airport to catch local flight to the Kenyan coastal town of Mombasa to start the beach holiday. Overnight at Sarova White Sands Beach Resort and Spa.

DAY 09 /10 MOMBASA

DAY 11 – MOMBASA – NAIROBI
