What a Fantastic Groomsman You Have Turned Out to Be!

Oh come on blokes, what number of you are relieved the marriage you are about to attend is not your own? What percentage of you think that being a groomsman is all just about standing there, maybe dancing with that lovable bridesmaid and scarfing down marriage cake and rubber reception chicken? Really? That many? Alright, boys, listen up: being a great groomsman means that you're going to have jobs to do, most of them actually. Those roles are as follows :

1. You will be anticipated to help the groom by being there when he gets his tux fitted, as well as ensuring that you and your other associates, I mean, groomsmen are there to get yours done as well .

2. You will be predicted to plan and execute a great bachelor party. You will also be anticipated to make sure that it does not get beyond control in anyway. While you are at it, make sure that the groom is not going to show up with a tattoo on his face, missing teeth, hair or limbs, or a bride he does not know. ( Think carefully to yourself the way the bride would react to each event. Slightly steamed is O.K, shouting words often reserved for hockey games is not. )

3. You'll be expected to make certain that most are at the church on time, with everything in place and ready before the guests start arriving. You will seat people according to whose'side' they are on. The best man will hold the real ring ( even if there's a ring bearer ) and will hand it to the groom at the right time of the ceremony.

4. At the reception, you could be asked to give a toast depending on the scale of the bridal party and where you fall in the pecking order. If you're number 4 in a party of 4, as an example, you'll likely not get asked to communicate.

5. After the ceremony, you will be anticipated to help make sure that all the marriage gifts, get to where they belong and that the tuxes and all accessories are gathered up and taken back to the store.

6. Being a groomsman is not only an obligation, but a massive honor too. It is traditional the bride and groom give their attendants a present to thank them for their time and closeness during the stress of getting a marriage organized.
